How to Ship Personal Effects When Relocating from the UAE

A suitcase is not a 2 CBM apartment. Personal cargo is the middle path: inventory, pickup from your villa or apartment, and delivery to a home address.
Build the inventory first
List rooms, then boxes. Mark electronics serials. Separate new unused gifts — some destinations treat unused bulk as commercial imports.
Packing week
Use numbered cartons. Do not pack aerosols, paint, or loose lithium power banks with clothes. We can pack if you are already on a flight — see packing and handling.
Documents
Passport or Emirates ID copy, destination address, and a phone that works after you leave. Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia each have extra rules for used goods; we tell you before collection.
Timing
Road to Jordan is typically 4–6 days door to door. Egypt air door-to-door is 3–5 days; sea is 10–18. Do not book the cheapest mode if your lease ends in three days.

Used household goods and clothes you already own. New bulk retail stock is commercial cargo and needs a different invoice.
Can I ship a used TV or computer?
Usually yes with an inventory line and photos. Lithium batteries and large TVs need packing advice before pickup.
Do I travel with the cargo?
No. You can fly first. We need a destination contact who can receive and sign. Duties stay with the consignee unless quoted otherwise.
How early should I book before my visa ends?
Book at least one week before pickup for road lanes such as Jordan. Air cartons can move faster if documents are ready.
