Dubai is a hub. Cargo often waits: for a Saudi truck, an Egypt sailing, or a buyer who has not paid. The wrong storage type creates daily bills.
Short-term
Use it after arrival while papers or a truck are pending. Count free days at the port separately — terminal demurrage is not warehouse rent.
Long-term
Months of inventory for distributors and e-commerce. You need SKU labels, insurance, and a pick process. We agree a weekly or monthly CBM rate in writing.
Bonded
Useful if you may re-export without entering UAE free circulation. It is not a way to avoid duty forever if you sell locally.
Cost control
Photograph inbound pallets. Do not store leaking drums next to cartons. Tell us hazardous class before the truck arrives.

No. Jebel Ali terminal storage is expensive after free days. Move cargo inland if you will hold it more than a few days.
